The C6 has one built in that you can switch off, so it plugs straight into powered speakers, or into an amplifier’s phono input with it switched off.

How to change the needle on the C6
With the arm on its rest, hold the AT3600L cartridge still, pull the old needle forward and down by its front lip, then push the NP-5 in from the front until it sits flush.
