Technics Record Player Needles
Most Technics turntables, including the SL-1200GR2, SL-1200G and SL-1000R, are sold without a cartridge. The needle you need is the one for the cartridge you fitted, not one for the turntable.
The models that come with a cartridge name it. The SL-1500C and SL-50C come with an Ortofon 2M Red, which takes the Ortofon Stylus 2M Red, and the SL-100C and SL-40C come with an Audio-Technica AT-VM95C, which takes the AT-VMN95C.
