Pro-Ject Record Player Needles
Pro-Ject fits cartridges from other makers, mostly Ortofon, so the needle is the cartridge maker’s part. The Debut E and Debut RecordMaster come with the Ortofon OM 5E and take the Ortofon Stylus 5E, and the Debut Carbon EVO comes with the Ortofon 2M Red in the UK.
The same deck can come with different cartridges. The US Debut Carbon EVO comes with a Sumiko Rainier instead, and many models use Pro-Ject’s own Pick it cartridges, for which Pro-Ject does not publish a replacement needle. Check which cartridge yours has before you buy.
